　久しぶりのヴォーカル・アルバムで、エンジニアにはCorin NelsenとTom Eatonの二人が顔を合わせた唯一の作品です。主役であるBrooke Ramelは、フランス系カナダ人、アコースティック・ギターによる弾き語り基本であるシンガー・ソングライター。
　 私のおなじみとしてはヴァイオリンのCharlie Bisharat、チェロのEugen Friesen。そして（スティックじゃないノーマルな）ベースTony Levin。クレジットを眺めていて、思わず「おっ！」と声を出してしまったのが、洋楽ではおなじみのTom Pettyのバック・シンガーを務めていたThe Webb Sistersの参加しています。インナーにもポートレイトで元気な姿を見せてくれています。

　 1〜11までは英語で歌われていますが、ボーナストラックの12と13は彼女の母国語であるフランス語でエロティックに歌われています。13はミシェル・ルグランのおなじみ（1964年の「シェルブールの雨傘」カトリーヌ・ドヌープ主演）のメロディをチェロのEugen Friesenと切々と歌い上げています。
